In reply to Louise. Hi Louise, I'm afraid it's one of those frustrating things where it very much depends on the dog. I'd have a chat with your veterinarian and see what they think if she's showing signs of pain afterwards. Best wishes to you both!

Until what age is it save to run with a lab. My lab is turning 8 and gets stiff in her hind legs after a run.

The labrador breed standard is written by people Annie, and therefore subject to human flaws. I believe, and most vets believe, that all healthy dogs should have a tuck. If lack of a tuck is written into a breed standard, then that is a matter for concern.

not sure if your dog is on wet or dry food.. james wellbeloved light is dry kibble which has worked for my lab Breagh she has lost 1.4kg over several months which is the best way as you dont want your dog to lose weight to quickly. Moira
