I agree, I think it’s a good idea not to put your dog’s name on the id tag. Although, I do have one of those blinged out name dog collars for my dogs that you show on your article because it’s so pretty and I get a lot of compliments on it! Lol. There is a lot of good suggestions here to think about depending on what you are looking for your dog.

In the UK, the Control of Dogs Order 1992 states that any dog in a public place must wear a collar with the name and address (including postcode) of the owner engraved or written on it, or engraved on a tag, as a minimum. Your telephone number is optional, but a mobile phone number is best. If your dog goes missing you probably won’t be at home, you’ll be out looking for him.

Is exactly what I thought too!
For blind people they find it easier to have collars that do not buckle and many of them own labs and love to know they are looking good.

You say don’t put yours dogs name on I’d tag then you are showing collars with dogs name on them ?!!!??!!
