My new puppy is 8 weeks. She’s due jabs, flea and worming in 10 days at the vets. But. I’ve spotted fleas on her. What can I use I the time prior? Is there a chance of double dosing her? I don’t want them getting worse in the meantime. Pulled 4 off her but couldnt catch the rest

When our puppy was too young for preventative medication/shampoo, the vet (and other people) said to bathe her (when necessary) in water with Dawn dish soap. Combine that with regular combing with a flea brush and you should be fine until she’s old enough to be on medication. We chose Advantage Multi which works well for our girl.

I am wondering what is the best flea preventative to use on a puppy as most products recommend use on dogs 4 months or older.
