Thank you and very informative. My Buddy a black lab/ border collie mix recently passed away at the ripe old age of 17 he was so loyal and intelligent and the best temperament and I miss him so anyway he was always fead home cooked and quality food and I attribute his longevity to that and love.

We have a black lab & border collie mix, she is a rescue. Easy to train, VERY intelligent she is all black with white spots on the stomach and paws. Very loving & makes a great family animal. Good with children and other dogs.

Our dog is an all black Borador with a white heart on her chest and two white socks. On her right paw she has a black heart. That is why we named her Heartly.

We adopted a almost 2 year old Black Lab/Border Collie in November 2022. His name is Charly. He came to live with us in the country after being abused and mistreated.

He is a black, with a white thin line on his forehead running down to his nose. White strip from him chin, down to his chest and some white on his stomach. White toes and a white tipped tail. He has a shiny coat and seems to shead all the time. Thankfully he loves to be brushed. He seems learning new tricks and is easily trained. He playfully howls and growls when he wants to tell us he wants to go outside. He loves to run around in the yard at full speed and play with our neighbor’s doodle. They love to run and play for hours. He likes to sit on the deck and watch 100s of deer a few hundred feet away and when one comes close to the fence, he barks at them. He loves to cuddle and get belly rubs and loves dogging holes. He gets jealous when we give out other dog attention. We are so happy to have been able to adopt him and give him the beautiful life he deserves.

We have a four month border collie lab mix. I’m sure he’s not pure bred but he’s such a sweet boy! I fell in love with him at first sight! He’s got very unique coloring. He’s got a white tipped tail, white fluffy collar, and a line on his face that’s white like a skunk would have, and his legs from the knee down are white with black spots. He’s been so easy to train once I figured out the methods he responds to. Thanks for the information here! It was very helpful!
