We bought our chocolate lab off gumtree….big mistake but we always say we rescued him. He was only about 6weeks according to our vet. We took Henry straight away for checkup. He had lots of tummy trouble only weighed 4kilo. He is now 3and very chunky. Solid not fat he’s now 55kilo. Think his dad was a bear. He was a terrible biter the vet said that’s what his mother or siblings teach them not to bite. We love him so much. We would prob have rescue lab in future. I have a yellow lean lab reuben is very nervous

In reply to Rob. Thank you for asking this! Our lab will be 6 years old in January. And she goes to daycare and plays there but at home when I'm trying to work she wants me to play. But I'm afraid she'd hate a sibling because she us the only child and the queen of this house. Lol.

In reply to LORI NELSON. We adopted a female yellow lab, English lab mix in January of 2023. She was the runt and almost died. She was spayed at q3 months, after her first heat and weighed 79 lbs. She is now 100lbs.

Thank you for all your help and support! Dealing with a14week old lab at present who has decided to pinch things off the worktop so no sandwich for me today as pup stole the bread! Over excited and now asleep in his crate.

Boy you described my lab she seems like a English lab with some traits of the American she is 10 months and quite a character training her as a bird dogs coming along slowly but positive just seems to lose focus
