Sorry to hear this. You might find this article helpful – and also this one on teaching your dog to fetch (to save your tennis balls!) 🙂

In the bench he is eating his own matress and a houseline is not lasting for long. He knows how to bite through it. All his own toys are ripped off. As a puppy i used to play with him with a tennisball. He was very good at it bringing it back, but now he just prefers to eat it.

I tried locking it down but she was too smart and could figure out how to get in. I finally just bought a new hamper so she couldn’t get in. Although we did treats for swapping she loved the treats she kept trying to steal shoes or napkins just to get treats. Now we just have her find one of us and she will bring us her item just for love.❀ She is one smart puppy that has kept me on my toes😆

Hi Gary. The best solution is usually to keep the counters completely clean and clear, until your pup learns that there’s nothing worth jumping up there for!

Over my 72 years ,I have had many dogs of varying and mixed breeds . None of the lot were ever like this little stinker ! I do my best to play with her ,give her puzzles , and walk her . She has her various toys . But no ,she wants what I have . And it is absolutely anything. At first I took it as cute . I learned quickly that was a mistake ! But since I had never experienced this kind of behavior ,I have done all the wrong tactics. Now I have changed my tactics and gone with the treat maneuver. She is interested in this but she obviously loved the chase ,so she tried to avoid “getting caught “ and giving up her stolen prize. So now I also close off rooms that she can run too . I hope this works because although I’m fairly fit for my age ,it is crazy making!
