I am not one who likes a dog in bed.

Instincts we/they don’t recognize but practice without thought. I know I sleep better back to back.

I bought a cage for the kitchen and popped him in it. He howled constantly for 2 hours so I slept on the sofa with him that night. The following night was the same so I let him on the bed. He’s nearly 4 now and has slept on the bed ever since. I don’t mind it at all. He gets up and down when he wants but mainly stays up. All my bedding is dark so I don’t notice the hair. I wouldn’t have it any other way. That’s my choice. I also work with my dog during the day as I’m a Counsellor and he’s a therapy dog do our bond is very strong.
