The most expensive kind. I like it because I can sneak a bite too.

The other thing you can do is find the treat they adore. For our 4 year old lab we use primula cheese, which comes in a tube in the UK and a trigger word. He associates the trigger word with cheese and when we’ve got him doing the action we want we say the command and give the reward. It’s finding their high value reward. We also went to gundog training as well which you can do with older dogs and not puppies and he loved that. He is just a pet and not a gundog, but he finds training stimulating.

Hello
We adopted a chocolate lab, Bailey, aged 18 months. We were told he ‘pulled like a train’ as he was also overweight at 36kgs, you can imagine what this felt like. However, after trying and disregarding various harnesses I found the Ancol Happy at heel harness and lead… absolutely wonderful! Cannot recommend it highly enough. No more pulling on his part, or aching shoulders on my part, and our walk is so enjoyable. We have had him over a year now and are able to use a normal lead without any issue, oh and his weight is now at 29kg. He is such a joy.

Cooper is 18 months and doesn’t walk well on a lead . Also gets overly excited when people knock on our door. Would love to get him trained so people don’t get knocked over when coming through our front door and lead trained so we can go for more walks.
Thanks 🙂
